I am So Grateful!
Gratitude is a difficult thing to find these days.
I know because I often forget to use it, even when I feel it deeply. Encouraging others, and finding ways to show how much they have impacted your life is an essential part of becoming more in your own character. What I wish to grow in, is the depth with which I encourage and love. What is your challenge? How do you see yourself growing in Character? What is God Calling you to become?
I would really like to discuss this with those who will enter in to it with me.
Hope your day is bright and your heart full of Joy!

I know "gratitude" in my head - I don't always feel it in my heart. It's those times (because I am a "feeling / emotional" being) that I have to assess where I am in two areas. My physically and my spiritual. When I recognize my circumstances are the reason for my lack of gratitude..I don't have to think too far beyond that to realize that it's time to practice my faith and trust in what I know to be Truth. I am even more aware and can grasp this concept easier when I see the lack of gratitude expressed to me by others. The major area of struggle / challenge in my life is "intolerance". That takes on a whole new face when you AGAIN have to look at yourself and ask the proverbial question "why"!! Can I simply say "God is calling me to become more like His Son"? Because He is.
Cara - first of all, what a CUTE card!! I love it! Gratitude... without going into details, my family. I am so grateful for my children. I am so grateful for this house God gave us!! God has called me to be a mother and has given me this opportunity to trust Him for patience, because only He can change me and give it to me!! Sometimes it hurts as He changes me and He makes me realize how I am lacking in so many areas...I need to trust Him to be a better mother. I will never stop growing in that way!!
Thank for your comments you guys...
and the compliment on the card. i love it too!
I love that God is never done His grand scheme work in us, but gives us little goals and victories along the way so that we can see His hand at work and the blessings that we are growing to be.
I am grateful for your real answers and your hearts of gratitude..
