I love to have a Garden!

For me, This the best place in the world to sit and enjoy the day.
Whenever I have a chance I am out here,
sipping a coffee, reading an article, or chatting with a friend.

I took these pics of the front garden that I planted.
It was only peatmoss, so we had to add some soil, and then the plants really grew amazing.
It is delightful to be in the basement working on my Scrapbooking
or Cardmaking and look through my window
to see beautiful blooms and foliage.
I love it!

I am unsure of what these flowers are but i love their sunny color and hardyness.
At the front I planted alysum in both front and back gardens.

Here are some Dahlias. aren't they a lovely color?

This is a Cone style arbor covered in orange, yellow and white black-eyed susans.

I have taken a few photos of how beautiful the yard has turned out this year.
It is the first of many that we will invest in our home,
and I am delighted with the turn out.
Hope you enjoy sharing this special blessing with me.

This is just at the beginning of the blooming. season.

I often sit on my little stool in the middle of the garden, and as you can see,
I am surrounded by flowers when I do so. The humerous part of it,
is the chain link fence allows the entire neighborhood behind us,
to view me sitting, facing the corner,
and smelling the flowers.
What I wouldn't give for a wood fence! Oh for a little privacy!

oh well... I have heard a number of comments on what an
improvement we have made to the yard.
But I think they are just happy to be rid of
the two dogs who lived back there with the last owners!
2 Large huskys tore up this yard until it was one huge dog run.
I heard the dogs were quite noisy as well, so the neighbors love the change!

The poppies have come up so beautifully!

I Love the Rudabekias and...

the Dahlia's

On our deck I planted some seeds... and was delighted to have these beautiful Sunflowers and nosturtiums come up... well next year they will be permanantly a part of the garden... In abundance!

.

Thank you for exploring some of my favorite parts of the Garden.
I hope you enjoyed yourself.
Feel free at any time to come back to
Stop and Smell the Posies

Oh how I love to have a Garden!
